We have recently created a new campaign for the launch of Staffordshire Police’s new single non-emergency number.

Staffordshire Police took the opportunity of a change of service provider to establish a new number in line with guidance from the Office of Communications (Ofcom), which established 03 numbers to help eliminate public confusion over call costs. The choice of the 0300 123 4455 number was based on how easy it is to remember and dial.

Smart Ideas were briefed to create a concept that would be impactful for all residents of the county whilst building on Chief Constable Chris Sims’ ‘Trust and Confidence’ values. The campaign which was featured on the front of Safer Staffs magazine, DL leaflets and posters featured a smiling, friendly WPC with her note pad and the new number.
